Yoga brings peace of mind and wellbeing to millions of people, and is increasingly recommended by health professionals for sufferers of many mental health as well as physical conditions, such as PTSD, anxiety and stress, depression, insomnia and schizophrenia.

On this course you will learn valuable methods to alleviate the symptoms of stress: breathing techniques, postures (mindful movement), meditation, relaxation techniques, mindfulness, visualisations etc derived from the ancient practice of yoga.

Each session will be an informal, safe, nurturing and sacred space in which to explore your own relationship to stressful events, and learn how to develop resilience and reduce its negative impact, so that you feel more calm and relaxed and empowered to cope with the ups and downs of daily life.
We will work in circle, so there is opportunity to share and connect with others in confidence.

Leah has been teaching yoga for 12 years. She has produced 2 best selling DVDs: Yoga & You and Yoga for Life She runs workshops across the UK and has appeared at the Om Yoga Shows in London and Manchester, Mind Body Spirit Festivals, Wilderness Festival, British Wheel of Yoga Festival

She has written for Yoga Magazine, Om Yoga Magazine and BWY Spectrum, and her work has featured widely in the media: ITV This Morning, BBC Radio, Spirit and Destiny, Natural Health Magazine, Bodyfit, Zest, TV Times.

She is a fully insured shamanic practitioner and sees clients privately for healings, and assists on intensive shamanic initiation and practioner training workshops.
